Women’s Golf places fourth at the Coqui Classic

RIO GRANDE, PUERTO RICO (Nov. 1, 2023) - The Point University Women's Golf team took their talents to Rio Grande to compete in the Coqui Classic where the Skyhawks placed fourth out of seven teams. 

Tournament Notes 

• The tournament was held at the Rio Mar Golf and Beach Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.  

• Texas Wesleyan served as the tournament host for this event where they annually hold this event each year. 

• The course was par 71 and 5,804 yards. 

• Point finished with a tournament score of 963 and shot rounds of 327, 310, and 326. 

• Point had two players who had Top-10 Finishes. (Fredrika Zetterblom and Paulina Villavicencio)
