Cross Country set to take the course this fall

WEST POINT, Ga. (Aug. 7, 2022) – The Point University men's and women's cross country teams have announced their schedule for the 2022 season, which features the first-ever home meet in program history.

The Skyhawks have a total of five meets on the schedule, with the fifth meet being the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships. Point will open its season in Florence, Ala., at the UNA Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 10.

Point will host its home invitational on Saturday, Oct. 1 in Valley, Ala. Details to Point's home invitational can be found here.

The Skyhawks will close out the month of October with two more meets, before competing in the AAC Championships on Friday, Nov. 4, in Columbia, S.C.

"I am super excited to see how we do this season," second-year head coach Caleb Albrecht says. "We have a lot of new faces who are ready to step into their roles. This program has seen a lot of growth in just one year and I can't wait to see how these athletes progress in competition, practice, and mentally."
