No. 10 men’s golf finishes fifth at AAC spring championship
ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. (April 26, 2022) – No. 10 Point University men's golf competed in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship at Barnsley Gardens Monday and Tuesday and finished in fifth place.
Tournament Notes
- The tournament was held at Barnsley Gardens, and the course was a par 72 and 6,992 yards
- Point finished with a tournament score of 934 and shot rounds of 299, 309, 326

Individual Finishes
- Cole Stevens led the Skyhawks, finishing tied in fourth individually with a tournament score of 227 and shot rounds of 70, 80, 77 (+11). He earned a spot on the AAC All-Tournament team.
- Jaden Saunders finished tied in 18th, shooting 21-over with rounds of 76, 77, 84 (237).
- Dominik Wolf finished tied in 27th, shooting 24-over with rounds of 74, 85, 81 (240).
- Brendan Porter finished tied in 31st, shooting 25-over with rounds of 82, 73, 86 (241).
- Trevor Poole finished tied in 34th, shooting 26-over with rounds of 79, 79, 84 (242).
Up next
The Skyhawks will await to see if they have earned an at-large bid to the 70th annual NAIA Men's Golf National Championship. The tournament is scheduled to occur May 17-20 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
