Key Larkin earns his second AAC Defensive Player of the Week honors

WEST POINT, Ga. (Oct. 9, 2023) - The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced the Player of the Week awards on Monday, October 9th, where Kemorion Larkin was named the AAC Defensive Player of the Week.

The Junior from Rochelle, Georgia, continues to make his presence known on the field as he finished with 15 total tackles (12 solo and three assists), one sack, and three tackles for loss in the win against Bluefield University. Larkin is starting to create a memorable season that he was destined to have, as he already has three double-digit tackle games in this campaign. Key Larkin's hard-nosed style to get to the ball at all costs makes him dangerous for opposing offenses. Larkin is not a player known to take a play off and has shown that by helping lead the team with 65 tackles on the year. Key Larkin feels he is nowhere near the potential he could reach for the Point Skyhawks. He will look to continue elevating his play to be the best linebacker in the Appalachian Athletic Conference along with the NAIA. This is Larkin's second weekly honor of the season.
