Women’s lacrosse falls in season opener to No. 3 Life University

MARIETTA, Ga. (Feb. 9, 2022) – The Point University women's lacrosse team opened its 2022 season Wednesday evening against No. 3 Life University and fell to the Running Eagles 23-0.

Life opened the game with 10 goals in the first quarter and entered halftime leading 15-0. In the third quarter, the Running Eagles scored six goals and in the final quarter, Point limited Life to two goals.

Life outshot Point 43-1 with freshman Sydney Hanna taking Point's only shot on the day. In goal, Kayla Bone recorded 12 saves.

Up next, Point travels to face No. 10 Georgetown, on Saturday, Feb. 12. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
