WEST POINT, Ga. (Feb. 27, 2023)- Women’s Basketball Head Coach, Tory Wooley was announced as the Appalachian Athletic Conference Coach of the Year on Tuesday, February 21st for the 2022-23 season. With this honor, Wooley becomes the first African American to win Coach of the Year for basketball- men's or women's.

(Feb. 21, 2023) - The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced all-conference awards ahead of the conference tournament which will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 22 and end on Saturday, Feb. 25. Multiple players on the women’s basketball team received honors in the following categories: AAC First Team All-Conference, AAC Second-Team All-Conference, Champions of Character, Newcomer of the Year, All-Academic Team, and Coach of the Year.
