Men’s and women’s tennis pick up wins in final regular-season matches

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (April 12, 2022) – The Point University men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Montgomery, Ala., to face Mississippi Gulf Coast and Huntingdon in the final matches of the regular season.

The No. 23 men's team defeated MGCC 6-1 and Huntingdon 9-0, and the women defeated MGCC 4-2 and Huntingdon 8-1.

Point will not turn its attention to the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament. The women's team enters the tournament as the No. 8 seed and will face No. 1 seed Montreat at 10 a.m. The men enter as the No. 5 seed and will face No. 4 Reinhardt at 2 p.m. The tournament is being held at the Champions Club Tennis Complex in Chattanooga, Tenn.
