A Look Back at the 2022 Season

Coming into the season, Anderson was coming off a big year with All-MSC First-Team honors. He was still hungry for success and felt he could provide more to the defense. Anderson played a significant role for the Skyhawks as a Linebacker on defense. He tallied 90 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery touchdown, seven pass breakups and 12 tackles for loss. Anderson was a player that could be utilized anywhere he was needed, as he took snaps at running back as well for Point. Anderson’s impact on defense also helped Point finish the season by winning the last four out of six games.

Career at Point

Overall, Aaron Anderson finishes his career at Point with 278 total tackles, six sacks, 26.5 tackles for loss, one interception, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble. His numbers speak volumes about the legacy he has created as a Skyhawk, and the consistent effort to go all out for his team did not go unnoticed. Aaron Anderson can now add being an All-American to his resume while also going down as one of the greatest linebackers to wear a Skyhawk jersey.
