Cheer finishes second in Virtual Tiger Invite

LANETT, Ala. (Feb. 6, 2022) – The Point University cheer team competed in the Virtual Tiger Invite, hosted by Georgetown Sunday afternoon, and finished in second place with a score of 85.55.

Georgetown won the competition with a score of 86.85 and University of Cumberlands came in third with 84.90. Georgetown is currently No. 2 in the NAIA and Cumberlands is No. 6.

After three competitions, the Skyhawks are No. 3 in the nation, with an average score of 85.69.

Up next, Point travels to Life University on Tuesday, Feb. 8, and competes at 9 a.m.
