Koala Volleyball Drop Two AAC Road Contests

The Columbia College volleyball team dropped two Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) road contests. The Koalas fell to Reinhardt 3-0 on Friday (Oct. 7) and 3-0 to Point on Saturday (Oct. 9). 

After the two matches, Columbia College's record goes to 0-15 overall and 0-10 in the AAC.

Brhia Cummings and Zoe Jackson led the team offensively over the two matches, finishing with 10 kills each.

Defensively, Kristin Wemes finished with 29 total digs, and Amiri Mason had 27 total digs across the two matches. 

Savanna Logan led the team in assists, finishing with 15 assists, seven in match one, and eight in match two. Logan also picked up 12 total digs.

Columbia College will return home for its next four matches beginning Tuesday, Oct. 11, versus St. Andrews. The Koalas will host Bryan and Tennessee Wesleyan back-to-back (Friday-Saturday, Oct. 14-15) before closing their homestand versus Brenau on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The Koalas' seniors will be honored prior to the game versus Tennessee Wesleyan.
