Bluefield came out with all the momentum in Saturday morning's matchup, extending their lead out 16-10. Point brought the score back within two with a 4-0 run to make the score 16-14, but that was as close as the Skyhawks would get, as the Rams would go on to extend their lead back out and win the first set.

In the second set, Point led 8-6, but the Rams would go on a run to the lead 14-8 and never lose the lead again, to take a 2-0 match lead. Point looked to avoid the sweep as the Skyhawks led for the entire first half of the game, but the Rams responded with a 5-0 run to take the lead 18-14 and would not allow Point back out front and took the match in three sets.

Sarah Baucham led Point's offense with nine kills, and Kaitlyn Hawke anchored the offense with 12 assists. Te'a Owens and Audrey Blaschke led Point's defense, with 13 and 12 digs, respectively.
