
Point Skyhawks Face a Tough Loss Against Reinhardt Eagles
WEST POINT, Ga. (April 12th, 2025) - In a challenging conference faceoff, the Point University Skyhawks succumbed to the Reinhardt Eagles with a final score of 16-3. The match saw the Eagles dominate both halves, leaving the Skyhawks to regroup and refocus for their upcoming games.
From the onset, Reinhardt established a commanding lead, setting the halftime score at 11-2. Despite the Skyhawks' efforts to penetrate the Eagles' defenses, they were unable to close the gap significantly in the second half. Point University players Thomas Van Alstine and Shaun McLaughlin managed to net goals, with Van Alstine scoring twice and McLaughlin adding another to the tally. Aaron Robinson, Point's goalie, was recognized for his commendable performance, making crucial saves throughout the game against Reinhardt's aggressive offensive plays.
