WEST POINT, Ga. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball team extended their win streak to double digits with a 75-50 rout over Point on Saturday. Adarion Hudson led the Firehawks with 22 points and four steals. Kendall Wright added 11 points and three rebounds.
UT Southern (14-2, 8-0) shot 40 percent, 12 of 30 from the field in the first half. Hudson scored 10 of his 22 during the opening 20 minutes. Point (8-7, 3-1) hung with the Firehawks shooting 11 of 30 for 37 percent. UT Southern led at the break 30-26.
In the final half, UTS' defense would constrict the Skyhawks, holding them to only 24 final half points. The good guys would light the nets on fire shooting 55 percent, 18-33 from the field.

UT Southern will return home to host William Carey on Tuesday, January 9th. The Firehawks and Crusaders will tipoff at 5:30 p.m.
