Eagles Remain Undefeated with on-the-road Win over Point Skyhawks
West Point, GA- The Reinhardt Eagle women's were on the road matching-up against AAC opponents, the Point University Skyhawks. Throughout this contest, there were 7 different lead changes and the Eagles were up just 44-43 before heading into the last quarter. Reinhardt maintained composure and hit shots they needed to towards the end of the stretch, with the biggest lead of 13 points. The Eagles won this matchup 68-57 over the Skyhawks. This game keeps the Eagles undefeated in conference play with a record of 7-0. While Point receives a loss, being 3-3 in the AAC.
Outstanding Performers:
- Ashley Woodroffe led the Eagle offense with a dominating performance of 21 points. Summer Cramer and Maria Sanchez Ponce each added 13 respectively.
- Maria Sanchez Ponce managed to get her hands on 12 rebounds for the night. Ponce also had 2 blocks.
- Julia Craft, Summer Cramer, and Ashley Woodroffe each had 4 assists.
